Collecting cookbooks is a passion of mine. I love every kind of cookbook, oven, microwave, crock pot, fondue, appetizers, gourmet, organic, exotic, French, German, pan, grill, food, and the list goes on! I have not even had a chance to try some of the recipes in a lot of them yet. I'm collecting cookbooks for many years, most of which I bought, but some were given to me by friends and some were to go to my mother, mother-in-lawand my grandmothers. Those who were sick, they are my favorite. You can never have enough, there's always something new and different things that are available.
One drawback to gather and have so many cookbooks, where I spent my growing collection. I have two large bookshelves full and my husband insists that we have more space for more shelves. Another problem is the special recipe I'm looking for, then I classify as best I can, but sometimes thatrequires the reorganization of the two libraries shelves full. Like most people, I would much rather spend my time shopping for books and cooking with them to be, as the organization that I have. I recently ventured into the world of cookbooks e-books. What a concept! I discovered there are some advantages to the cookbooks e-books (in addition to not talk to my husband to buymore libraries!). Convenience is the most obvious, of course. Who does not love online shopping, no crowds, no waiting in long queues, parking problems and it is possible 24 / 7 from the comfort of your shop at home. After the purchase, download your book on your computer and you can use immediately to provide no waiting for UPS or the post.
space saving is a head exactly! CDs take up less shelf space to do that thick books, and you canshare some e-book on CD. You can also group the books on CD, CD to begin with, one for bread recipes, one for cakes, the possibilities are endless.
Do not forget counter space. Instead of books scattered around the house while cooking or baking with e-book that you can print just the recipe you are working with. Do not ruin a perfectly good book. If you're like me, sometimes things scattered or sprayed and is nothing more frustratingas a drop or a splash of your favorite recipe. Well, if that happens I just have to shoot that paper and printing of a new next time I use it, splatter free!
