Beijing food is famous for its diversity and style. Beijing cuisine is unique in China, because the foods that come from all parts of China can be found, and a wide selection of western food. No other place in China is the variety of cuisine, which is in Beijing. In addition to food from other areas, Beijing has also to develop their own style of cuisine for nearly 5,000 years and have some amazing local food in Beijing, including the famous Beijing Roast Duck.
